Jilly Traganou is the author of The Tokaido Road: Traveling and Representation in Edo and Meiji Japan (Routledge 2004) and editor with Miodrag Mitrasinovic of Travel, Space, Architecture (Ashgate, forthcoming). She is the recipient of numerous grants and fellowships, including two Graham Foundation Grants, and two Japan Foundation fellowships.
