In 2007, Vladan Nikolic completed The City, a feature documentary that explores the human condition in New York City, through a cross-section of unique overlapping stories of non-native New Yorkers, exiles, immigrants, and refugees.

Mobile Geographies is a project that aims to create a platform for the production and dissemination of geo-tagged urban information – including historical facts, individual experiences, neighbourhood statistics, planning information and other information deemed important by a community of users. The goal is to connect virtual narrative layers to tangible places, providing a ghosted space where stories, histories and statistics reveal patterns of associations or visions of the future.
